Guerin Rife designed the first Island Series model in 2007. The goal was to continue to create a wider selection of traditional style putters while still incorporating Rife’s core technologies. This is a center shafted version of the Barbados advanced mallet design that quickly found Tour acceptance and success. The Barbados has an extremely high moment of inertia and while very successful on Tour, like all Rife putters has proven to be a great putter for golfers of all abilities.
