The Paiste New Signature Dark Ride delivers a fusion of darkness, energy, projection and brilliance. They have a responsive feel and are extremely controllable with a very wide range and complex, musical mix. Also woody, silvery, spanky ping over crunchy, thriving wash. Mark I: Tends to be a bit quieter, darker and drier. This manifests itself in the overall sound character and in particular in the bell and ping sound. Introduction: 2004"New Signature Class": The elitist concept for this class of cymbals allows Paiste to use ultimate artistic freedom in the creation of cymbal sound. It calls for absolute exclusivity, total individuality, full concentration on the individual cymbal's characteristics and complete freedom from the sonic constraints of a series personality.
